Hunger Pushes A Village Man To Consume Snake Meat Amid Lockdown (Video)

In the second half of January 2020, a widespread virus entered Nigeria, this resulted in the suspension of some economic activities including but not limited to religious gatherings, schools, transportation, and businesses.

Following the increasing harm on the lives of people by the pandemic, the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) promptly passed some rules and regulations to contain the continual spread of the novel virus. Among those new policies made by the government are the closure of business activities and the stay home order.

The purpose of establishing those new rules by the government is positive-oriented. However, the rules have had many negative impacts on the lives of Nigerians. People have run short of funds to feed themselves and their families.

Due to a lack of funds to buy conventional food for consumption, some people have resolved to eat unusual food.
