How is it "normal" for couples to have intercourse

The frequency of intercourse that satisfies you and your husband is the "normal" frequency for you. Some couples have intercourse only once a month; others have intercourse every day. Either one of these habits of intercourse and anything in between or beyond is normal if the couple is happy with it.

Most young middle-aged couples, however want to have intercourse about two or three times a week unless there is a medical or emotional problem. For the purpose of fertility, couples who have intercourse three to four times a week are the most likely to get pregnant during a one-year period.

One of the most down-to-earth directives to married couples concerning frequency of intercourse that I know is in 1 Corinthians 7:3-5 where apostle Paul states: " The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also his wife. Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer.
