UNN retrieves admission from candidates, assigned them to other courses, made in compliance to JAMB

The university of Nigeria Nsukka has so far released their 1st supplementary list on December 2019, and in the list admitted more than the number stipulated by jamb in their quota. This has resulted in an opposition by JAMB says they refuse to accept the admission of those candidates except their number is reduced. On April 2020, an "Update on supplementary list" was released by the institution re-assigning Candidates from medicine, law, nursing and other professional courses to another different course. The affected candidates refused to accept the "matter" as they were frustrated and angry.

The school hereafter made an official announcement to the candidates in a letter that the refusal to accept the new course on or before 30th April 2020 will result to a total withdrawal of their admission from JAMB CAPS.

"All such candidates are therefor advised in their own interest to quickly accept the courses so re-assigned to avoid their names being deleted and entirely loosing the admission ", a statement made by the University Registrar.

This action left the students dumbfounded as they protests that the act is unlawful and an infliction on their rights.
